Cancer Pain

Up to sixty percent of cancer patients experience pain during their cancer. Pain may result from tumor progression, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, bone metastasis, or from spread along or near nervous tissue.

For many patients, the pain is a constant reminder that they have cancer. The pain can lead to sleep deprivation, depression, fatigue, stripping patients of needed energy to fight their disease.

Dr. Nolan Tzou did his fellowship training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for pain management and is dedicated to serving the community with first class care. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Tzou has a wealth of experience in helping patients control their pain at all stages of their cancer.

Dr. Tzou has been a member of the cancer committee at Huntington Hospital, the ethics committee at Morristown Memorial Hospital and Huntington Hospital, and the chairman of the pain committee at Huntington Hospital.
